I was approached by an IDT executive to develop a DTC sparkling energy brand and business model. We worked together to build out basic branding, product pricing, capital expenditures, basic financials, ROI calculations, and more.
During the design process, we chose a vertical can, zero sugar market positioning, and with digital marketing targeting the working professional. We reviewed capitalization, marketing opportunities, product economics, and more. We contacted leading beverage and packaging suppliers.
This project ultimately did not go into production, owing to the fact that the research didn't see a potential area for entry for the investor.
